Rhetorical Analysis
The video that I decided to use was from this year’s
Super Bowl, it is the Budweiser Ad titled, “The Clydesdales: Brotherhood.” I
think ad is very effective because after watching it both my mother and I went “awe”.
It was cute and it targeted towards the audience of woman viewers but just
because it was targeted towards women in my opinion, many men enjoyed the commercial
as well. The advertisement was also to show you the bound between the man and
the horse since in the commercial the man seemed to have no family and would
constantly be with the horse. The commercial
had a lot of product placement in it since the Clydesdales horses are the one
that pull the Budweiser and is the beers symbol in a sense. The idea of the
horse ditching his uniform before running over to see his old friend is very
adorable. The product-placement of this scene was lessened by a few seconds but
it still had a powerful impact.
